Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
The role is broadly divided into the following strategic areas:
- Product Strategy & Trade Marketing Planning:
- Define product vision aligned with Pet Care goals and sales needs.
- Map competitor trade marketing efforts and emerging trends.
- Develop differentiated positioning for the Pet Care portfolio in trade channels.
- New Product Development, GTM & Field Sales Activation:
- Identify market gaps via research and develop new products for quarterly launch, followed by comprehensive Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy.
- Design and execute GTM plans, including brand communication, trade schemes, POS materials, and field activation.
- Ensure high product visibility at vet clinics, retail pet shops, and distribution channels.
- Market & Field Insights:
- Gather valuable insights from field visits, retailer feedback, and sales team discussions.
- Monitor competitive trade activity for rapid tactical adaptation.
- Sales Enablement & Communication:
- Create ready-to-use sales collaterals: product sheets, pitch decks, and objection handling guides.
- Plan and deliver trade-focused training modules.
- Support incentive design and performance-tracking tools.
- Sales Scheme Management & Performance Tracking:
- Develop and execute quarterly trade promotion calendars and incentive schemes, ensuring timely communication and monitoring impact via KPIs.
