Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead and manage our pharmaceutical sales operations in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing a team of Medical Representatives, and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals to expand market presence.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and achieve sales targets for the assigned area.
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Medical Representatives.
Develop and implement territory-wise sales plans and strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, chemists, stockists, and key accounts.
Monitor daily field activities and ensure effective coverage.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Ensure timely collection of payments and control outstanding dues.
Conduct regular sales meetings, reviews, and training sessions.
Prepare and submit sales reports to management.
Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
Eligibility & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, or Life Sciences (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred).
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 1–2 years as an ASM or Senior MR.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
